The case of plagiarism at NES

Dear NES graduates:

As you may have heard, or read on the NES webpage, there has been a case of academic misconduct that recently happened at NES. The attached document describes the results of investigation by the special committee, and decisions made by the Academic Council.
Best wishes,
Stanislav Anatolyev
Acting Rector

Privet Stas,

Do you run the theses through automatic checks? Sounds like this case was discoverd purely by accident.

Hi Dima,

"By accident" sounds like "by catastrophe" :)

The answer is no, but we are discussing it now. It seemed kinda западло to do it with the NES students, but now we see that there may be a point.
